I was hired on the spot as a roustabout, kicking off my oilfield career. Primarily, I worked as an Offshore Installation Manager (OIM), until in 1996 when I was appointed HSE Manager for what would become the worlds largest drilling contractor. In that moment, I instantly fell in love with offshore life.
