The initial well and a sidetrack successfully encountered oil in high-quality Miocene-age reservoirs. onshore and offshore regions, including the Gulf of America. The Far South discovery lies just 4 miles north of BPs Constellation field, a testament to the basins dense network of prospects and infrastructure.
